Bonjour! I’m Nants (Nancy), a Marriage and Family Therapist Registered Intern (MFTi) and currently a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) candidate in Orange County, CA. My undergraduate degree is in Economics and Administrative Studies with an emphasis in Human Resources. Post undergraduate I switched from my economics business career and pursued a Master’s in Marital and Family Therapy and now pursuing my doctorate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy.

Additionally, I have worked in special education and drug rehabilitation settings along with being trained in mindfulness, crisis and suicidal intervention, and applied behavioral analysis therapy.

My passions include copious amounts of research and practice regarding human sexuality and mindfulness/meditation therapy. However, when I get the chance, I absolutely love water sports and you can find me scuba diving, surfing, snorkeling/free diving, and/or lying out on the sunny beach. I also love to read and write on my blog when I find the time-

My belief is that each unique individual has the capacity and potential to grow within and out of themselves. To help clients be mindful of this beautiful happening and awareness of such a deep measure is a huge sentiment for me. My hope is that clients will also begin to feel and seek the goodness in each of their hearts for their positive emotional and mental wellbeing. And as Carl Rogers once said, “The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.”

I truly believe The Angry Therapist community is such a great start for this and much more! If I may be a resource or pilot in helping in any way, I hope to be so!
